How can you afford to travel so much?
Producing travel videos is my full-time job. I make money from the ads on my YouTube videos. Sometimes I work with companies on sponsored videos. In the beginning, I saved money from other jobs to travel (worked at a startup and did food photography for restaurants). To learn more, you can watch my video here.
What is your nationality?
Korean American. I was born and raised in San Jose, California.
Where have you been?
I moved to Los Angeles for college, lived there for 7 years, explored Europe, bounced around Asia for about 2 years, moved back to USA, then adventured around Asia again. Some day I’ll visit every country, but no need to rush :) Here’s a map if you’re curious.

What’s your favorite food?
Hard to say! Every culture has tasty dishes. Food preferences can also vary on your mood. I do often crave Khao Soi and Xiao Long Bao. For daily eats, I love my mother’s Korean vegetable side dishes. Delicious and nutritious!
Where are you?
I am based in Seattle. It may seem like I travel all-year-round, but I actually travel about an accumulated 3 months out of the year to film. The rest of the time, I’m at home editing videos and savoring the greenery of Washington State.
